How do you define wellness? Does your organization have a strategic wellness plan? Is your staff aligned with the vision? How do you measure success?
Wellness as a strategy is no longer an option it is a necessity to control costs, increase revenues and reduce turnover.
Nationwide, health care premiums, claims, prescriptions, workers compensation claims and absenteeism continue to rise, costing employers and their employees $450 billion, and counting. While at the same time revenues and margins from the sale of products and member services are holding steady or declining.
The model is not sustainable for all employers, large and small. And if you are in the Private Club Industry where member attrition is at an all-time high and recruiting new members is increasingly more challenging, you may want to consider embracing wellness as a strategy.
